PCS

I have been a bad blogger lately! We have had so much going on here, I can barely keep up. And by “so much going on here” I, of course mean, “lots of sending my kids out to play so I can watch the View and harvest eggplants in Farmville on Facebook”.

I just wanted to share some snaps of my own little munchkins. They all have major PCS: Photographer’s Child Syndrome. The camera comes out and they all start running, crying, and gnashing their teeth. But on rare occasions I am able to get some shots of them.

Rare occasions, like when they are asleep.

Grace looks so peaceful. Much unlike this shot:

Or this. And if you guessed “blue Gatorade,” you are correct!

Jake learned to ride his bike this week! We have a super sweet early-teen boy in our neighborhood, whom Jake really admires. I am pretty certain a little peer pressure went a long way in getting Jake off of the training wheels.

Here is he is looking Oh So Handsome. Pretty sure he is emailing this one to iCarly.

And if you are a photog’s kid, you will be subjected to “The Artsy Shot.” In which mom make you look like you might be the poster child for “The Grapes of Wrath.”

Nathan is hit or miss in the photo department, mostly letting out a whiny, “noooooo….” whne he see the camera. But I can still sneak up on him, especially when he is making mischief.

Or just trying to wash his hands. Brother and Sister can take a lesson from him here.

But he’s not always Mr. Clean.

And sometimes, even mothers of children with severe PCS will be granted a beacon of hope; a miracle if you will.
All three children. Looking at the camera. AT THE SAME TIME. Do you hear the heavenly host of angels singing right now, or is that just me?

Your kids are beautiful. I love all of your pictures. I think the one with Grace and her white hair bow are my favorite. You are gifted.

Those are awesome! I love them. I would've laughed at the "grapes of wrath" picture of Jake but your explanation was hilarious. I like the simple white undershirt. He looks like he had a hard day in the fields, yet he still looks so handsome. Grace looks gorgeous sleeping with her headband in her bed. She looks like she's floating. And go Jake for riding a bike. Positive peer pressure is just fine, that's how Trent finally learned how to swim this summer…

And Na Na cleaning his hands is very cute. I'm so proud of him for maintaining proper hygiene. Now let's see a smile from you in one of these pictures!

So cute! I love that you're capturing these priceless moments! They sure go by fast don't they?

Tell the truth, did you put that headband on her after she fell asleep?

Great shots! I love how you told a short story with them all.

They'll get over the PCS someday and be grateful for all the amazing pictures their mom snapped of them.
